Composition created in part from memory, in part from imagination. This collections of paintings are process driven in the sense that the compositions were not planned out and drafted with absolute intention. I grasped for a hazy outline of an impression and allowed my hands and tools to direct the work organically.

These fluid, washy landscapes are unpredictable in nature, the watered down acrylic paint reacts to the natural canvas in a different manner with each layer. While working I find myself drifting back and forth between ideas and color palettes, between a place of memory and a place of being present. Like the tide, or the wind, always in motion. If not in body, always in thought.

This piece is 9x12 inches acrylic on hand primed unbleached canvas, framed in Maple.

Painting is signed, dated, and titled on back. Hanger affixed.
